Hello All! I have had a few people tell me that they are having problems trying to use the backgrounds with the new Blogger. As always, new technology advances make things a little more difficult!! But don't worry, there is a solution!
If you have changed your layout or design to one of the new design templates on blogger, you are probably having a hard time trying to find the part of the html code where you need to insert the link. What you need to do is change your layout back to the old minima template, and here's how you do it:
1. Go to your Dashboard,
2. Click on the 'Design' tab
3. Click on the 'Edit HTML' tab
4. Scroll down to the bottom underneath the HTML box where is says 'Old Templates'. Underneath the title 'Layout Templates (Launched 2006)' there is a link that says 'Select Layout Template'. Click on that.
5. Select the Minima template and save it.
Now when you look at your HTML code it should look a little more familiar. Then just simply follow the instructions on my sidebar to use one of my backgrounds. Also, you will notice there will be no fonts and colors tab anymore. Those functions will be found under Advance in the Template Designer once you have the minima set.
